Every day, military members dedicate their careers and lives to protecting our country and our freedoms. And while Americans are proud to honor these service members of the military with holidays and recognition, some companies go above and beyond to show their appreciation.
Vivint recently had the honor of giving back to a veteran and his family by teaming up with Military Makeover, a home improvement show on Lifetime TV, and providing them with smart home technology to make their home smarter, safer, and more comfortable for the whole family.
A smart home for a heroic family
Military Makeover helps transform the homes of veterans and their loved ones by bringing together designers, contractors, landscapers, and home improvement experts. Together, they combine their talents and services to create a dream home for veterans.
With a team of volunteers and Smart Home Experts, Vivint traveled to Lake Worth Beach, Florida, and got to work customizing a smart home for the Kruspe family. Matthew Kruspe is a medically retired Marine Corps SSgt and 100% VA disabled veteran as a result of serious health-related issues sustained from two deployments.
Thanks to Vivint and Military Makeover, Matthew, his wife Latoria, and their twins Mia and Xzavyer now have peace of mind with a Vivint system that includes 24/7 monitoring, remote access, and some of the smartest devices on the market.
