What reporting is available?

Up to three of your Dealership members are granted licenses to view all reporting for your organization-including account progress, commissions, deductions, etc.

What does the Dealer payment structure look like?

Dealer payments run on a consistent schedule so you know what funds you’ll receive and when:

  • Dealers are paid weekly.
  • Smart home purchases are paid the Friday after installation.
  • For solar, the installer funds Vivint within one to two weeks after installation. Dealers receive their payout the week after Vivint receives those funds.
What is required to get started as a dealer?

In addition to basic information about your business, getting started as a Vivint dealer requires the following documentation: W-9, banking information, Certificate of Insurance, and any applicable business licenses at the state level.

How long does it take to get onboarded?

If all required documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner, your business can be up and running within 48 hours. After the initial setup, it takes less than 24 hours to onboard your reps.

Do we need permits/licenses?

Yes. You'll need to submit all applicable business licenses your state requires. In the states which you operate it is also you and your teams responsibility to ensure all applicable state, city, and county licenses are procured.

What is the sale-to-install timeline?

Smart home and solar installation time can vary. In many cases, a smart home security system can be installed same day. Solar, however, can take up to a couple months based on your area and the local permitting required.
