For veterans, transitioning to home and family life can be a challenge. Organizations and programs help make that transition easier, and Vivint recently had the honor to support our veterans by helping a deserving military family update and transform their home.
Helping honor military families with Military Makeover
Vivint is proud to support military families, from active duty and reserve to the veterans who have dedicated years of service to their country. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Military Makeover, a home improvement show on Lifetime TV, to give a deserving military family the home makeover of their dreams.
Military Makeover brings together a talented team of designers, contractors, landscapers, and home improvement experts to help transform the homes of veterans and their loved ones.
Our servicemen and women dedicate their careers and lives to protecting our country, and partnering with Military Makeover to help a military family protect their own homes was a natural fit for Vivint.
A smart home for a deserving veteran
We got to work with a team of volunteers and Smart Home Experts to provide the Kruspe family with a smart home system that will make their newly-renovated home safer, smarter, and more comfortable.
Matthew Kruspe is a medically retired Marine Corps SSgt and 100% VA disabled veteran. During two deployments, he sustained a number of serious health-related issues that led to his retirement. His service earned him numerous accolades, including the Purple Heart, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, and Afghanistan Campaign. At home, Matthew is supported by his wife of over 20 years, Latoria, and their teenaged twins Mia and Xzavyer.
With a Vivint Smart Home, the Kruspes will now enjoy a security system that includes 24/7 monitoring, some of the most intelligent security cameras on the market, and a number of smart home devices that make controlling temperature, lighting, and other systems around the home more convenient than ever.
