Methodology

To create a visual guide to holiday-decorated homes across all 50 U.S. states, we used AI image-generation tools trained to produce photo-realistic imagery. Each image was crafted using detailed text prompts that combined regional architectural styles, seasonal weather patterns, and cultural decoration trends specific to each state.

Prompts included cues like "fresh snowfall," "citrus wreaths," or "luminarias," depending on the state's geography and traditions. The final images were styled with a consistent aesthetic, capturing a warm, inviting holiday scene at blue hour with tasteful lighting and realistic textures. This project was completed in November 2025 and is intended for visual inspiration and entertainment.
