Installer was great and he did a wonderful job. He did state that he was new which could have contributed to the problems that we have. We can't set the alarm and leave it sets it off, we can't come in and turn it off it sets it off, he said he'd come back with a stand for our panel and he hasn't yet (going on 3 weeks) and I can't get my phone to notify me when someone is in camera range

Terrible the salesman Cody Bowes lied…
Terrible the salesman Cody Bowes lied to our whole neighborhood about equipment being completely free as long as we let they place a sign in our yard. Fraudulently ran my credit with me knowing by telling me to pay a one time today install fee of $3.69. But really he was applying for credit and opening a line of credit for the equipment (1,499.98) while talking to us. We had no idea. With the debit card that I paid the $3.69 fee with for the payment. Then Vivint couldn’t even talk with me to verify acct or anything bc Saleman also gave false information to company so they couldn’t not verify me. He made a verbal passcode then didn’t answer his phone to us any longer from his phone number provided us. Then I have had to ask to talk to multiple supervisor before issue was heard. They are supposed to be coming to get their equipment and canceling loan. But the inquiry will still be on my credit along with a closed acct once they pick up equipment. Not happy and will never suggest this company to anyone bc they didn’t fix the issue! They also tried to charge me to cancel for the fraud they allowed to happen. Ridiculous!!

Friendly service with unusual policies
Friendly and honest staff. They take their time to make sure you understand everything. And you have the salesperson’s direct number in case of any questions or concerns. Here’s why they lost 1 star:
1. After meeting with the sales rep, you HAVE to at least make contact with the installer the same day to avoid extra charges, even if it’s at night. In our case it was around 9PM, but he was happy to come back for the full install another day which took over 4 hours.
2. They do not clean up after themselves, so any dust or wood shavings from drilling through your walls or doors is left where it fell. And you have to dispose of the product boxes yourself. He was polite about it but it’s some kind of policy they have.
3. You only have 3 days after install to cancel your service if unsatisfied. We are happy with the system but there was a problem during the installation we were told someone would contact us about to resolve. Those 3 days came and went without any word so now we are stuck. It’s not an emergency per se but still a bit off-putting.

The service representative was not…
The service representative was not forthcoming about all the charges. For example, the overall price of the products in service. I was very disappointed even though he gave me some discounts on starting the service. I got two months free up front with no contract, due to my hesitation. I'm not sure if I have a contract when it begins or even if I what's told the truth. I have a lot of paperwork to read through. I sort of wish everything was just explained upfront and was honest.
The technician it was very thorough in communicated when necessary.
I'm a little hesitant, it's about keeping the service in products.

My representative
My representative, Chris, was great. He didn't push. Answered all of my questions. He even played with my grandkids who were visiting.
The system is easy to use and understand. I am able to call if I have any questions and I love the fact that there are technicians local that can assist quickly, should I need it. I can also call if I just have a question about how to change my view on the screen or anything else.

Brandon made our experience amazing!!! He was great with explaining all the equipment, how to use it, and what each item does. He helped us figure out placement and was just overall great with getting exactly what we need, without pushing unnecessary items onto us. He was so friendly and personable, without losing his professionalism. I highly recommend trying them out!!!
