What is a smart home hub?
A smart home hub is the command center for your security system and automation devices. The Vivint Smart Hub lets you view cameras, talk to visitors, and connect instantly with Vivint’s 24/7 monitoring team.
How does a smart hub work?
The Vivint Smart Hub keeps you connected with LTE and encrypted Wi-Fi. Even in a power outage, its 24-hour battery backup has you covered.
Should I upgrade from my current panel to the new Smart Hub Pro?
Yes. If you have a GoControl or SkyControl panel, upgrading to Smart Hub Pro lets you access the latest Vivint smart home technologies, including the Outdoor Camera Pro, Doorbell Camera Pro, and Indoor Camera Pro. If you already have a Smart Hub, the upgrade provides improved connectivity and flexibility to add new products in the future.
Do I need a smoke/CO detector if the Smart Hub Pro has built-in smoke and CO monitoring?
Yes. The Smart Hub Pro monitors for your existing smoke and CO alarms—it does not replace them.
Can I have multiple Smart Hub Pros in my home?
No. Each home can have only one Smart Hub (Smart Hub or Smart Hub Pro) per system.

At Vivint, we provide you with a smart home and not just several smart home products that operate independently on different apps. What can I monitor with a smart hub?
The Smart Hub lets you monitor and control every part of your Vivint system from one screen. Customer service has been amazing!! Of course we all know once you search for security solutions you start getting the calls… don’t hesitate to go with Vivent!! You can finance your equipment… which they do quickly and automatically!! The coolest thing was… the financing company sent me the ACTUAL CREDIT CARD… so I can add more equipment, or options later. But, you can also see how fast you can pay off that equipment. Most people are assuming they are getting rich off financing your equipment. That’s just not true. You have a lot of high quality equipment, backed by professionals who quickly communicate with you when you have ANY kind of problem!! I love the system, but I love the technology and ease of the app… it’s the whole package..Literally!!!

It’s been incredibly convenient
It’s been incredibly convenient! We don’t need to bring our keys anymore because, with just one tap on our Vivint app, we can lock or unlock our door. The installation was also very smooth and quick! Bardhul was the installer, and he did an awesome job!

Vivint Service is Worth Your Time
What made my experience "great" was a few things. The installer "Joe" was very knowledgeable about the product. The installation was done neatly and in a very organized manner. The installer had respect for our home and space. The installer explained after he finished how we would be using the doorbell and the themostat. He had a very pleasant attitude and showed he cared about his job and what how he. made the customer feel the company wanted us to be well serviced. I will recommend this company to others due to all of this.
