It works so much better than ADT. I love everything from the garage door reminder, to the cameras to the personal safety button. I am a huge fan of Viviant products for all my home safety. I am a 65 year old female with Parkinson's disease. I live alone and I sometimes worry about my safety. I love the cameras outside. I can see if someone is lingering in my yard. The doorbell camera shows anyone through the home control panel. I can talk to anyone that rings the doorbell without opening my door. I love that i can open and close my garage door from my phone. Last but not least, I love and appreciate the personal safety button that I can wear so that if I fall or have an emergency, all I have to do is push the button to get help. Overall Viviant has everything i need and more.

I have not used it but the add on was a great idea, did not know it was included but I appreciate this extra item. I live alone and a fall or accident could be fatal if I am unable to contact an emergency service. My ex has Life Alert at her home and pays $85 a month for it and the 2 indoor Life Alert devices but it's not a home alarm/watch system.

What is the range of the Vivint Emergency Pendant?

The Vivint Emergency Pendant works within approximately 300 feet of the Smart Hub in open space. This range may vary depending on walls, furniture, or other obstructions in the home. It’s designed to give users flexibility to move around while still staying connected to emergency support. Test the pendant in key areas of the home for best performance.

Is the emergency pendant waterproof?

The Vivint Emergency Pendant is water-resistant, meaning it can handle splashes or brief exposure to moisture, but it is not waterproof. It should not be submerged in water or worn in the shower. It’s safe to wear near sinks or in humid environments, but avoid fully immersing it in water.

How does the Vivint Panic Pendant connect to emergency responders?

When the pendant is pressed and held for 2–3 seconds, it sends a signal to the Vivint Smart Hub and immediately alerts the Vivint 24/7 monitoring team. A specialist then contacts the user through the panel’s two-way talk feature to assess the situation.
