What is the range of the Vivint Emergency Pendant?
The Vivint Emergency Pendant works within approximately 300 feet of the Smart Hub in open space. This range may vary depending on walls, furniture, or other obstructions in the home. It’s designed to give users flexibility to move around while still staying connected to emergency support. Test the pendant in key areas of the home for best performance.
Is the emergency pendant waterproof?
The Vivint Emergency Pendant is water-resistant, meaning it can handle splashes or brief exposure to moisture, but it is not waterproof. It should not be submerged in water or worn in the shower. It’s safe to wear near sinks or in humid environments, but avoid fully immersing it in water.
How does the Vivint Panic Pendant connect to emergency responders?
When the pendant is pressed and held for 2–3 seconds, it sends a signal to the Vivint Smart Hub and immediately alerts the Vivint 24/7 monitoring team. A specialist then contacts the user through the panel’s two-way talk feature to assess the situation. The representative explained the details except for the breakdown of the payment for each equipment. We were just told that it is to be paid (equipment) within 60 months and the monitoring fee is separate. As for the techs that installed the equipment, they were good except that they left dirt on the floor and I have to clean it. They also were not wearing shoe covers and were walking on my cream colored rug with their shoes.

BEWARE OF PUSHY SALESMEN. The uninstall tech was great!
The good part of this review is about the UNinstall. My experience with the UNinstall was great. I was VERY glad to get UNinstalled from the system! I'm ashamed to admit that I was talked into buying this system by a smooth-talking salesman who pushed me right into a five-year contract before I knew what was happening. Don't believe the salesman when he tells you that you have 60 days in which to cancel. It's actually 3 days, and I barely got in under the wire! Praise God I'm out, the equipment is gone, the loan is canceled, and I will not fall for this again!!!! Now, on to the good part: The tech, Ray O'Neil, who came to uninstall the equipment couldn't have been nicer. He was quick, knowledgeable, polite, and very good at what he does. I appreciated him immensely. After removing the Vivint equipment, he put back my deadbolt, thermostat and doorbell. Thank you Ray!!! Don't let a salesman talk you into something you don't need and don't want!!!!!!
