The installers were professional and quick
The installers were professional and fast. Once the paperwork was out of the way they were able to the system up and running quickly. My only demure is that they did not want use any of the old gear that I had so I am left with Brinks window sensors and other sensors and two control panels that do nothing.

A surprisingly great experience from start to finish
Admittingly I was skeptical when a Vivint salesperson showed up at my door. I wasn’t actively shopping for a new security system, but I had become increasingly unhappy with my previous provider and realized I was paying more and more for a system I wasn't using and equipment that was no longer meeting my needs. I’m genuinely glad I gave Vivint a chance. Sammy, my sales representative, was responsive throughout the process and followed up when I had detailed questions about pricing, equipment protection, and the terms of my service. When he didn’t know an answer, he checked with his manager or corporate rather than simply guessing, which I appreciated. Installation was quick and professional, and the difference in the technology was immediately noticeable. I’m actually using my security system now. I love being able to check and control my garage door, lock and unlock my front door from my phone, receive useful notifications, and use the cameras to keep an eye on my home and pets. The video quality is excellent, and even friends have commented on the improvement. I also took advantage of Vivint’s buyout program to leave my previous security provider. The process worked exactly as promised. I submitted the required documentation and my reimbursement was approved without any hassle. Most importantly, the system gives me a greater sense of awareness and control over what’s happening at home. It feels designed around how I actually live and what I want from a modern security system, rather than something I simply pay for every month and rarely interact with. It’s still early in my experience with Vivint, but so far I’ve been extremely happy with both the equipment and service. The entire experience has exceeded my expectations.
