Vivint Enters into New Partnership Agreement with the Utah Jazz

Vivint has entered into a new partnership agreement with the Jazz that will extend through the 2030 season.

January 14th, 2023 – As part of today's news about the Utah Jazz’s arena naming rights sponsorship that will go into effect in summer 2023, it was announced that Vivint has entered into a new partnership agreement with the Jazz that will extend through the 2030 season.

The new agreement between Vivint and the Jazz, which will go into effect on July 1, 2023, contains a number of significant provisions, including Vivint retaining the rights to its acclaimed courtside suite as well as its current ticket packages throughout the arena. Vivint will also continue to have a meaningful presence inside the arena with in-game promotions and advertising packages, on-court digital signage, as well as social media activations and other various public promotional activities.

In a video sent to Vivint employees about the announcement, Ryan Smith, owner of the Utah Jazz, talked about his longstanding relationship with the brand and thanked Vivint employees for their hard work throughout the partnership. He recounted how the brands have been working on a new deal for nearly a year and that Vivint’s focus for the new sponsorship centered around the employees. Smith added that he was “blown away with the creativity and activation in the community around the arena name” when Vivint became the naming rights partner eight years ago, and expressed excitement for “all the ways that Vivint is going to go activate the brand again” in this new era.

Todd Santiago, chief revenue officer of Vivint Smart Home added, “No company is a bigger fan of the Jazz organization than Vivint and we look forward to continuing our partnership.”
