Vivint, one of the largest home automation companies in North America, today announced that Steve Dixon has joined the company as its vice president of operations.

Steve will play a critical role in Vivint’s success, managing a variety of departments that support the company. He oversees logistics for Vivint’s summer sales program and central monitoring station, licensing for all technicians and sales representatives, as well as data entry and contract processing functions.

Prior to joining Vivint, Steve served as vice president of account management at Adobe Systems Inc. in Orem, Utah. While there, he worked with Fortune 500 clients in the online marketing/web analytics industry. He has also served as director of client services at Financial Fusion Inc., a subsidiary of Sybase, and as senior manager at Automation Data Processing. Steve earned his bachelor’s degree in communications from Brigham Young University.
