4-Month Money Back Guarantee Terms and Conditions

Eligibility: The Vivint 120-Day money Back Guarantee (the “Guarantee”) is available only for new Vivint customers (“You”) who purchase a qualifying Vivint Smart Home system (requiring minimum $599.99 equipment purchase and minimum $39.99/month services agreement) and choose professional Vivint installation. Do-it-yourself (“DIY”) system purchases and reactivations of previously-installed systems or system components not eligible for Guarantee. Guarantee available only in locations where Vivint provides service.

Guarantee: Subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the Purchase and Services Agreement between You and Vivint, Vivint guarantees that each professionally-installed component of the Vivint Smart Home system You purchase will function in substantial compliance with the Product Specifications listed here for the first 120 days after installation (the “Guarantee Period”). If any listed component of Your Vivint Smart Home system fails to function in substantial compliance with the Product Specifications and Vivint is unable to resolve the issue during the Guarantee Period, Vivint will refund the full cost of Your equipment purchase and any fees You paid for professional installation (collectively, the “Refund”). Monitoring fees paid during the Guarantee period will not be refunded. Failure to timely report any system functionality issues to Vivint’s Customer Service department and/or to provide Vivint with reasonable access, cooperation, and opportunity to address such issues during the Guarantee Period will void Your Guarantee.

Exclusions: System issues caused by You or by other circumstances outside of Vivint’s control (including, but not limited to, interruptions in Your electrical service; unstable internet connection in Your home; and Your expectations about system functionality that are not supported by the Product Specifications) are not covered by the Guarantee. The Guarantee is nontransferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and may not be combined with other discounts, promotions or special pricing.

Equipment Return: To receive a Refund pursuant to the Guarantee, You must remove all components of your Vivint Smart Home system and ship them to Vivint, with the shipping date postmarked no later than thirty (30) days after the expiration of the Guarantee Period. To initiate an equipment return, please call 1 (800) 678-2635, ask for an Equipment Return Authorization form, and follow the return instructions provided. You will be responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning the equipment to Vivint. Damaged or broken equipment is not eligible for a Refund unless the damage is attributable to Vivint’s installation or a manufacturing defect. Vivint will return the Refund amount to You within thirty (30) days after receipt of your returned equipment. You will not receive a Refund or credit for any equipment that is missing, damaged, or postmarked more than thirty (30) days after the expiration of the Guarantee Period.
