The camera is fixed in its viewing area. It can be relocated to another spot if desired. The images are clear and in color. They are delayed slightly, but not long enough to be ineffective. In my opinion, the only drawback to this camera is that it does NOT save the images like the doorbell or the outdoor cameras do.
