Electronic Signature & Disclosure Consent

Vivint LLC and NRG Energy Inc. and each of their corporate affiliates (collectively, “we” or “us”) are legally required to give you specific information “in writing,” which means on paper related to any transactions we have with you. We need your consent to provide this information to you electronically instead.

Consent. By agreeing to this consent, you consent to electronically receive documents related to this current transaction, which includes your signing subscription and installation agreements with Vivint, your purchase of Vivint products, our installation of those products, your subscription to Vivint service, and (optionally) your financing of Vivint devices. This may include the following documents:

• Agreements for our alarm monitoring, installation, and sales services;
• Agreements and disclosures related to your financing arrangement with Vivint;
• Notices of renewal of the above-mentioned agreements;
• Product and service warranties, instructions, and manuals; and
• Consents and agreements to enroll in automatic payments.

You also consent to:

• Sign those agreements and give those consent electronically, such as by drawing your signature or initials, checking a box, or clicking a button.

You give this consent on behalf of yourself and any other account holders and account users of your accounts with us. It lasts until your purchase is completed our relationship with you ends or you withdraw this consent.

How to withdraw your consent? To withdraw your consent and request an alternative method to receive Communications, please call Vivint Customer Care at (800) 216-5232.

Your alternatives. You are not required to provide this consent. But if you do not, you may be unable to enter some transactions with us. If you give this consent but would also like a paper copy of the applicable information, please call (800) 216-5232. You will be charged $1 for each paper copy we mail to you at your request.

How we will electronically send you information. We will deliver information to you electronically by making it viewable to you online or by sending it to you by email, text, or another electronic method. You may wish to print a paper copy of this information for your records or save it electronically. You agree that you can access, view, download, save, and print any Communications you receive via electronic delivery for your records.

Hardware and software requirements. By providing your consent, you acknowledge that you have access to and understand how to use a computer with a supporting operating system, internet access, an Internet browser, and PDF reading software. You also understand how to use and have access to an email account and a printer.

Data security. You acknowledge that the Internet is not a secure network and that electronic communications transmitted over the Internet may be subject to unauthorized access by unintended third parties. Although we have implemented reasonable technical safeguards to protect our communication systems from unauthorized access, we cannot guarantee perfect network security. Consequently, you accept that receiving or sending communications via the Internet is done at your own risk.
