Keeping you and your family safe
A note to our Customers regarding coronavirus (COVID-19)
During this time of increased uncertainty caused by coronavirus (COVID-19), our highest priority is continuing to provide peace of mind to our customers. We are taking aggressive steps to limit exposure for our employees and our customers in order to keep them healthy and safe.
Protecting Your Home
Vivint is here for you even in times of crisis. We have multi-site, geographically dispersed monitoring and service centers ready to respond 24/7.
Should you need onsite service, our teams are ready. All of our sales and service employees are following the CDC’s best hygiene practices, in addition to completing a daily fitness for duty assessment, which includes a temperature and symptoms check, before they begin their workday.
Our team will arrive at your home prepared with additional supplies such as gloves, eyeglasses and sanitizer and will clean all areas of the home they interact with during the installation. Each customer will also receive a pre-visit phone call, where you can discuss any questions or concerns about your upcoming visit.
Protecting Our Team
If you or someone in your household is showing signs of illness, including fever or flu-like symptoms, we ask that you reschedule any upcoming technician visits to your home.
Rescheduling is easy, with the following options available:
- Chat with us at Vivint.com: look for the chat icon in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
- Chat with us through the Vivint app: select the menu icon on the top left-hand corner of the screen and select Support.
- Speak with an Agent: call 855-290-3685.
If you are unable to reschedule before the technician arrives, we ask that you notify him or her before they enter your home. We empower our technicians to make decisions regarding their personal health and safety, including ending appointments early if anyone in the household is showing symptoms of flu or other contagious illnesses.
Of course, we also ask all of our employees to rigorously practice the fundamentals outlined by the CDC:
- Staying home when sick
- Washing hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or using hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol content
- Covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue or upper sleeve
- Cleaning commonly touched surfaces and objects, including tools
Protecting Our Communities
At Vivint, we believe home is everything. Because home is so important, our mission is to make it more secure and to provide each of our customers with peace of mind. In times of uncertainty, it is more critical than ever that our extended community has access to that same protection. If someone in your community would benefit from the security of a Vivint system, our team is anxious to help and can be reached at 800-216-5232.
We are committed to our customers, our communities and our families. Above all else, we’ll be there for our communities when they need us most.
We will continue to keep you updated with the most current information. In the meantime, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you for being part of the Vivint family.
