PROVO, Utah (July 19, 2017) – Vivint Smart Home, the leading smart home services provider in North America, today announced that Nate Randle has joined the company as chief marketing officer. Formerly the senior vice president of marketing for the Utah Jazz, Randle will lead the company’s global marketing and communications. Randle’s predecessor, Jeff Lyman, is taking on a newly created executive role where he will work to define the future of Vivint product experiences.

A marketing veteran with over 17 years of experience across global consumer brands, Randle previously served as the senior vice president of marketing for the Utah Jazz, where he directed the marketing, design, social media and game operations for the team. He also served on the executive team that secured the new naming rights partner for the home of the Utah Jazz, which is now the Vivint Smart Home Arena.

Before Vivint, Randle also spent five years at Nike. He served as the brand director for football and baseball working directly with the NFL and MLB on product launches and athlete integration. He also drove the brand strategy and consumer initiatives for Nike Golf. Before Nike, Randle worked in a variety of marketing and sales positions for Amer Sports, Callaway Golf Company and Hewlett-Packard.
