Pumpkin Carving Templates
I love everything about fall: cooler temperatures, warm sweaters, falling leaves, corn mazes and of course, pumpkins. Picking and carving pumpkins for Halloween is a favorite family tradition in our home. Halloween wouldn’t be Halloween without a collection of carved pumpkins sitting on our porch.
Every year we gather as a family and head to a local pumpkin patch to pick the perfect pumpkin. We have a family rule you can pick any pumpkin you want, as long as you can carry it yourself to the car. Then it’s back home to scoop out the seeds and get to work carving something awesome. We’ve used the first 20 Vivint carving templates http://www.vivint.com/neighborhood/good-neighbor/pumpkin-templates/ for the past few years because they are super simple to carve and offer a wide variety of characters, creatures and spooky things. We are excited to add these 10 new designs to our collection. My little boy is already dreaming about scaring grandpa with the new spider design.
Our carved creations might not be the envy of the neighborhood, but displaying them on our porch is a perfect way to greet our neighbors on Halloween night. Their additional light source also makes our porch extra safe for trick-or-treaters.
If you haven’t already, you should definitely make carving pumpkins a Halloween tradition in your home. Buy some pumpkins. Print out these templates. And let the spooky times begin.
