Dinner Table Place Cards

I just love the holidays. I love having such a wonderful reason for people to come together and celebrate, and one of my favorite ways to celebrate is gathering for meals around the dinner table!

If you’re planning a dinner for the upcoming holidays and want to make it a little fun and fancy, these DIY place cards might just do the trick. We’re sticking with a fall theme (perfect for Thanksgiving!), so grab your materials:

  • Fresh pears (one per dinner guest)
  • Kabob skewers
  • Gold spray paint
  • Glue gun
  • Printer and ink
  • Cardstock
  • Pen
  • Scissors
  • This printable download

Start by printing out the download and cutting out each name card. Write your guests’ names on the cards. Next, cut your kabob skewers to the length that you’d like and spray paint them gold. Hot glue a name card onto each skewer and cover the glue in the back with a small piece of cardstock. Insert each skewer into a fresh pear and stand them by your guests’ table settings.

These place cards are quick and simple but will be so lovely on your fall table! And if you’re looking for a little bit of color, you’ve got an option! You can download this file in black and white, or with yellow leaves. I’ll definitely be using them at my next big dinner. And what about you? Planning on hosting any gatherings this season?
