Excellent community outreach, customer service and innovative corporate leadership has won Vivint™, the largest home automation services company in North America, finalist honors in the 2012 American Business Awards (ABA) competition.

In addition to entering the final round of the nation’s premier business awards program under the categories of Customer Service Department of the Year and Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year, Vivint’s CEO, Todd Pedersen, has been named a finalist for the ABA’s Maverick of the Year honor.

“To be honored is a great accomplishment, but to know that Vivint is doing everything possible to create an inspiring work environment, to serve its customers and to build a national community is what really matters,” said Todd Pedersen, CEO of Vivint. “Vivint will continue to grow with a heavy focus on making the world a better, safer place to live.”

Vivint’s nominations highlight its award-winning customer service department, its company-wide social responsibility program called Vivint Gives Back and its founder and CEO Todd Pedersen. Each nomination shows the invaluable dedication Vivint places on its employees, customers and the communities where it conducts business.

Finalists were chosen by more than 140 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. More than 150 members of 10 specialized judging committees determined Stevie Award winners from among the Finalists during final judging, which took place May 14 - 25.
